The 7th ACM SIGGRAPH International Conference on Virtual-Reality Continuum and its Applications
8-9 December 2008

An exciting VRCAI 2008 awaits participants from both academia and industry in Singapore, a hotbed of innovation where state-of-the-art technologies and applications in the virtual reality continuum (VRC) will be explored and presented. Spanning next-generation info-communication environments such as virtual reality, augmented virtuality, augmented reality, and mixed reality, , VRC is key to defining and interacting, with and within, our virtual worlds. Advances in research and novel applications in this field have revolutionised much of our leisure activities, making them more appealing and fun. Just as significantly, these advances provide the foundation for more effective interactivity in work- and learning-related activities.

VRCAI 2008 focuses on the following main themes: Fundamentals, Systems, Interactions, and Industry and Applications in the VRC.

40th Conference – ISAGA 2009

29 June to 3 July 2009, Singapore

ISAGA 2009 is hosted by SSAGSG, Society of Simulations And Gaming of Singapore. It will be a special event; it will be both the 40th Anniversary and 1st S.E.Asian ISAGA conference. The theme of the conference is Learn to Game, Game to Learn. We learn about games and simulations; and then we learn from games and simulations. The conference theme embodies this double aspect. Between the learning and the game are people and technology.

Conference sessions will be organised into a series of tracks. Tracks with a
focus on technology include Interactive digital media, Mobile gaming,
Simulators, Virtual communities, and Virtual reality; tracks with a focus on
content include Education, Engineering, Healthcare, Humanities, Management sciences, Professional training and Social & policy sciences and tracks with a focus on methodology include game design, theory testing, assessment studies, gaming & change processes, and game research.
